How do you put the Harness on?

We have extended the length of the shoulder straps to allow a large width to reduce displeasure of it going over their head. Once the straps on the chest have been tightened once they do not need to be adjusted again unless for comfort (or an extra thick winter coat!). Simply lengthen the shoulder straps, place over the head, clip the chest clips in place and then pull downwards on the excess webbing from the shoulder straps to tighten. To remove firstly lift the clips up on the shoulders and slide the excess shoulder webbing through to loosen the straps, then un-clip both chest clips and lift over their head. 

Is the harness suitable for children of all ages with special needs?

Yes, our harness is designed to accommodate children of various ages and special needs. Whether your child is a toddler or older, and regardless of their specific challenges, our harness provides the necessary support and safety for outdoor exploration. The original small is suitable for ages 1- 6 or 7 years and the Chest straps easily fit 45cm to 60cm (18"-24"). The XL version is suitable for those aged 6 years and over and the chest circumference of 53cm (21") to over 75cm (29"+).

Can the harness be adjusted for different body sizes and shapes?

Absolutely! We understand that every child is unique, which is why our harness features adjustable straps to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for children of different body sizes and shapes, with extra space for winter layers and coats. This adaptability allows for a customised experience tailored to your child's needs.

How does the harness ensure both safety and comfort for my child?

Our harness is meticulously crafted with both safety and comfort in mind. The materials used are gentle yet durable, providing the necessary support without causing discomfort, all materials adhere to the toy safety standards of EN 71. Additionally, the design incorporates padding and ergonomic features to minimize pressure points and maximize comfort during wear.

Is the harness easy to put on and take off, especially for children who may have sensory sensitivities?

Yes, simplicity and ease of use are paramount in the design of our harness. It features intuitive buckles and adjustments that make putting it on and taking it off a breeze, even for children with sensory sensitivities. We understand the importance of minimizing stress and discomfort during the harnessing process. The one drawback is that it does have to go over their head but the quick release straps on the shoulder allow this to be greatly extended and not create a tight application.

Can the harness be used in various outdoor environments, such as crowded places or uneven terrain?

Absolutely! Our harness is versatile and suitable for use in a wide range of outdoor environments. Whether you're navigating crowded parks, bustling streets, or rugged terrain, our harness provides the necessary security and stability to keep your child safe while exploring the world around them. The leash can be removed or added for that additional safety mechanism and allow that extended freedom with peace of mind that your escape artist will not be able to bolt away from you.

Can the harness be washed in a washing machine?
No - the harness should be hand washed and air dried only.
